News and Updates

Single Sign-On (SSO) and Password Changes

GCCCD has deployed single sign-on (SSO). This means that a single @gcccd.edu account grants access to Self-Service, Canvas, GCCCD email, and more. Passwords for this account must be at least 16 characters long. Please see the guidance on Passwords and Accounts for more detailed information.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

GCCCD now requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your @gcccd.edu SSO account. After entering the password, students, faculty, and staff must acknowledge a message sent to their phone number or within their Microsoft Authenticator app. Please view our introduction to MFA guide for more details.

Help Desk

The Technology Help Desk assists students and faculty with institutional technology. Users may browse our Frequently Asked Questions or Technology Guides at their convenience. You may also contact the Help Desk during open hours for assistance by phone or by email. Support is provided for college resources only.

College employees and staff members receive support from the District Services IT Help Desk. Learn more by visiting the website. Users may also email District IT (helpdesk@gcccd.edu) or call the IT Help Desk at (619) 644-7547.

Computer Labs

小优传媒 provides computer and software access to all enrolled students. Each lab is designed to support student success in specified areas such as computer science, business, mathematics, and more. Explore all the different technology labs on campus.

Building 70 - the Tech Mall - houses the Open Computer Lab, a general-use lab available to all registered students.

Instructional Computing (ICS)

Instructional Computing Services (ICS) supports academic software and hardware campus-wide. Learn more about Instructional Computing Services.
