Third-Party Comments to ACCJC

Third-Party Comments

Third-party comments help the Commission evaluate an institution’s application for candidacy, accreditation, or reaffirmation of accreditation.

When an institution is under review, its chief executive officer is required to notify the campus community and the public about the opportunity to submit third-party comments and the process for doing so.

Any member of the college community or the public may submit a third-party comment by completing the Commission’s online Third-Party Comment Form, available on both the institution’s website and the .

To ensure that comments are evaluated by the peer review team, they should be received by Commission staff at least five weeks prior to the peer review team visit. Institutions will also have an opportunity to review applicable third-party comments.
