The Transfer Achievement Celebration will take place in the Transfer Center at Grossmont College. We are located in Building 10, Room 173.
The Transfer Achievement Celebration will be ongoing throughout the last week of classes and leading up to graduation. We invite you to attend at a time that works with your schedule.

You are transferring! And we want to recognize your success! You are invited to visit the Transfer Center to pick up a Transfer Recognition Cord that you can wear during the graduation Commencement Ceremony! If you are not participating in the ceremony, yes, you may still pick up a Recognition Cord to celebrate your achievement.
Please bring your offer of admission (letter or email) and visit the Transfer Center during the Transfer Achievement Celebration May 27th-June 3rd. See "When and Where" for office hours.

Have any last questions before you start at the university? Transfer Center Counselors are available in the Transfer Center by appointment during the Spring 2025 semester. Call 619-644-7215 to schedule an appointment. If requested, please leave a message and your call will be returned.
You may also stop in to say hello May 27-June 3 when Counselors will be available on a drop-in basis to answer quick questions from admitted students transferring in Fall 2025. As a student transferring to a bachelor degree program in fall 2025, check out these scholarship opportunities and consider applying!
Community college students transitioning to a bachelor's degree program in Fall 2025 are invited to apply. Scholarships range from $3,000 to $10,000 and may be applied to cost of tuition, books, and supplies. Applications are accepted from February 3, 2025 to May 1, 2025. Only completed applications will be considered. Application and more information on ALGSD.org.
16 scholarships are available specifically for Grossmont/Cuyamaca College students transferring to a 4-year university in Fall 2025! The scholarships are worth $5,000 each. Students have from 3/24/25 to 5/2/25 to complete the online application. In order to qualify, select Yes to the Are you transferring to a 4-year in fall 2025? question.
